Sam gripped the handlebars of his motorcycle, the wind rushing against his visor as he soared down the open road. The exhilaration of the ride consumed him, offering a temporary escape from the weight of life. The adrenaline coursing through his veins gave him a bigger high than he could get in the back room of any club in the city. But fate had other plans. In the blink of an eye, a wallaby bounced out onto the black from the deep green scrub that lined the road. I am not good at writing about me. I have a picture here that I took at Seaford Pier. During COVID, I bought a camera and some lenses and got back into a hobby I had as a kid. The are some great places to take pictures around home and Seaford Pier is common for a lot of local photographers. Some make calendars. This picture has got me what would be termed an honourable mention in some online competitions, getting a digital gallery showing in Melbourne and London. I’ll post more, along with some writing that I’m trying to do. I need a space to be creative.
